The third session from the series “Photography for the serious beginner” will help students to learn about focus, including selective and manual focus. Aditionally, the student will learn about the advantages of using filters and flash.
“Photography for the serious beginner” is a series of six lessons of two hour each, providing a hands-on introduction to digital cameras and contemporary photographic practice. Students will explore basic photographic principles, including: composition, camera controls, focus, exposure, and lighting.

Fee $300 when you book the six sessions in advance or $60 per session. Limited space!

Materials
- A digital SLR or mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera with manual controls. Point-and-shoot cameras and smartphones are not suitable for this course.
- Tripod

All fees must be paid on application.
These workshops are is open to small group of applicants and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
I reserve the right to cancel groups due to unforeseen circumstances. Students will be given a full refund. In the event of cancellation, students will be given at least 3 days advance notice.
I reserve the right to change or alter the program advertised.
Refunds to participants who wish to cancel their place on the workshop can only be given up to 5 days in advance of the date of the workshop. After this point, refunds cannot be issued.
Due to the fast pace of the workshop it is highly recommended that participants produce and edit their work digitally, using their own laptops.
